LEARN HOW TO DIVE!


Whether you want to try out scuba diving or get certified, we have many programs to fit a variety of interests and time schedules. You can even start studying for your Open Water certification at home, and complete the program diving in warm Maui waters! If you would like a course in the next week, please call our office directly for scheduling at 808-667-7496.

Rescue Diver

Taking the PADI Rescue Diver course will help you dive with confidence, increase your safety, as well as the safety of others.

Cost depends on options chosen.

The course requires four classroom sessions and 5 open water sessions. Divers learn to deal with dive emergencies, learn to self-rescue, recognize and manage stress in other divers, use emergency management equipment and rescue panicked divers.

Adults and PADI (Junior) Adventure Divers 12+ who have completed the Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive may enroll in a Rescue Diver course. CPR and First Aid training within the past 24 months required (can be completed during the Rescue Diver course). You can also add the PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider specialty diver course at the same time.

Advanced Open Water

Looking to upgrade your skills as a certified scuba diver? Explore more parts of the underwater world and gain new skills in our PADI Advanced Open Water course. Complete your academic coursework online and spend your vacation time diving!

Basic cost is $299 per person, plus the discounted cost of dives you choose to participate in, and 10.166% tax and fees.

Use the link below to complete the book-work part of your course through PADI-eLearning prior to arriving on Maui. Cost for Advanced Open Water e-Learning is $183 paid directly to PADI.

After your online course is complete, the open water course can be completed in 2 – 3 days.

Through the Advanced course you’ll do five different dives all under the expert guidance of your PADI Instructor in the beautiful waters of Maui county. Two core dives are Underwater Navigation and a Deep Water dive. Three additional dives we offer are Underwater Naturalist, Boat Diving and Peak Performance Buoyancy. This fun course has no formal classroom session on Maui, simply a lot of great diving.

PADI Open Water Diver

Our Open Water Certification through our 5 Star training facility is offered year round for individuals 10 years of age or older (minors must be accompanied by a paying adult on the boat). Our checkout dives are completed in the beautiful waters of the West Maui Coastline.

We target 4 students per class for the best learning experience. If your group is larger, please contact us directly for options.

Cost is $699 per diver plus 10.166% tax and fees.

Use the link below to complete the book-work part of your course through PADI-eLearning prior to arriving on Maui. Cost for Open Water e-Learning is $195 paid directly to PADI.

After your online course is complete, the open water course can be completed in 3 days

Included: Confined and open water training, dive gear, log book and snacks on dive charters.

All Open Water training participants are required to complete a medical questionnaire prior to diving, which you can download here. If you answer yes to any question, you may need to have your doctor complete the physician’s evaluation form (the last page of your medical form). Your doctor can access information on completing the physician’s form here.

PADI eLearning

PADI eLearning courses allow you to complete the academic portion of your course online from anywhere, then complete your certification diving with us on Maui.

Cost depends on course chosen Choose from a variety of courses- from Open Water or Advanced Open Water Diver, to Enriched Air Diver, Rescue Diver, Dive Master or Instructor Development.

Please use the link below fill out an application on the PADI website. This will allow Lahaina Divers to easily verify your learning. After completing e-learning, contact us to complete your chosen certification with Lahaina Divers!

Discover Scuba

Immerse yourself in exotic sea life and take your first breaths under the clear waters of the West Maui coastline. The Discover Scuba program gives non-certified divers the thrilling experience of diving.

Cost is $349 plus 10.166% tax & fees. Instruction + 2 tank dive. All gear and snack included.

Discover Scuba is available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, 12:30PM Check-in, 5:00PM approximate return.

All Discover Scuba participants are required to complete a medical questionnaire prior to diving, which you can download here. If you answer yes to any question, you may need to have your doctor complete the physician’s evaluation form (the last page of your medical form). Your doctor can access information on completing the physician’s form here.

Specialty Certifications

Lahaina Divers offers a wide variety of PADI specialty courses that can unlock unprecedented adventures and potential throughout your diving career.

Open Water Referral

Already completed your online Open Water academics and confined water training throuh PADI or another recognized Universal Open Water Referral program? Then you are ready to complete your certification in beautiful Maui.

Cost is $599.00 plus 10.166% taxes and fees.

Includes 4 open water dives through our 5 Star training facility. Offered year round for individuals who are 10 years of age or older. Our Referral checkout dives are completed over two afternoons. Rental gear and snacks between dives included.

Enriched Air Nitrox

Our most popular specialty course instructs you how to dive with enriched air nitrox. This gives you more no decompression time, especially on repetitive scuba dives and leaves many divers feeling more refreshed and energized after their dives. Stay down longer and get back in the water sooner. For certified divers, including Junior Open Water divers over 12 years old.

You may be able to get college credit for the PADI Enriched Air Diver course – ask your instructor to learn more.

Emergency First Response

Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR) teaches participants how to respond to life-threatening emergencies.

Cost is $179 plus 10.166% tax and fees.

The course includes Scene Assessment, Barrier Use, Primary Assessment, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Serious Bleeding Management, Shock Management, Spinal Injury Management, Conscious and Unconscious Choking Management, AED and Emergency Oxygen use.
